It all seemed so perfect when he played it out in his head—

Sho would turn the blank card and whine about Kazu pulling a fast one on him.

And Kazu would tell him how it's part of the trick all along, pull out the ring box, place it on top of the deck and say, "I swear, it's not what you think."

Then Sho would open the box, see the fancy wall hook inside, frown and purse his lips in confusion, perhaps with a hint of disappointment, while hissing, "You dick..."

It would've been the perfect moment for Kazu to blurt out his spiel about how the ace of diamonds didn't have to be so stiff anymore.

That they could finally hang that photo Okada took of them in the living room and let everyone know the real deal—

But Sho does open the box...

And flat-out says no.
