Sho remembered the pain.
The blinding lights.
The confused shouting, fading.
Fading...
Gone.
He was lost at first. Had no idea where he was, where to go.
But when he walked into the room he shared with his lover, he knew.
He knew—
“Sho-chan...” Satoshi whispered in his sleep. “You didn’t come. Why...? I waited. I did...”
Sho clutched his lover’s hand, the one that firmly held the trinket box close to his chest.
The box that contained the ring that would never find its way to Sho’s finger—
“I miss you, Sho-cha~n...”
“I’m here, Satoshi-kun... I’ll always be here...”
