Yama Halloween Drabbles – 29 Third Wish
Third Wish

“But people have always been able to wish their genies free, Satoshi-kun!”
“Well, that’s the point, you see. Since humans everywhere have been wishing freedom for genies after that stupid boy Aladdin got you all started on it, there’s hardly any of us left to go around—”
“Then, I’ll just waive my third wish, so you’re stuck here with me for good!”
“There’s that 100-day limit to making your wishes—”
“Well, then... I’ll wish the Council of Genies and their friggin’ restrictions away! HA! How’s that?”
“Hey, I think they’ve forgotten about that, Sho-chan...!”
“So then, for my third wish...”
***There are a number of ways that this wish could fail (it’s Sho, after all). But it could also work out for the better, ne? I’ll let you decide. 😊
