Satoshi loved solitude, the blissful freedom being alone could give his wandering thoughts—

“I’m going out.”

He peered over his canvass as Sho made his way to the front door. “Stay safe.”

He meant to say something more.

About how grateful he was that Sho understood him well enough to let him be by himself once in a while.

About how they perfectly complemented each other with his need to be alone, and Sho’s need to be outside with friends.

But he just smiled and kept it to himself.

Then giggled when Sho came rushing back for a quick kiss.
