There is a fine line between a seemingly perfect idea and the most tragical mistake.

The moment Sho sees Kazu with the deck of cards, he lets out a horrified squeak and drops the ring box to the floor. "Where'd you get this?" he rasps out, grabbing the deck from the feline's mouth in a blind rage.

Startled, Kazu instinctively pulls back, causing his end of the box to snap open, and letting out a mess of cards cascading to the floor.

And this is exactly when it all falls apart.

Just like it already did once before...

Sho cups his hands over his lips to muffle out the sobs.

Kazu can almost hear his own heart shattering--

Because on top of that messy pile, staring right back at them with unerring precision, are the two cards that has led them here--

A blank card.

And the ace of diamonds.
