je_prompts, and a need (humor me) to pay homage to Sho Sakurai’s divine butt (humor me, seriously!) xp
It’s not even like they hadn’t seen it before in the first place. Uncovered and up-close.
It’s just that there’s something about the way that barely-there towel clung to those curvy mounds that made them... uhngng... almost edible.
Satoshi tried to ignore the unabashed bandying of words all around him, keeping up with the pretense of having fallen asleep on his seat as the three younger Arashi discussed the finer points of Sho Sakurai’s butt, blatantly displayed in a screen shot of his near nakedness taken from the latest episode of his drama and most probably enlarged right now on somebody’s handphone.
“They’ve become firmer, too. I think,” Nino remarked in a hushed and pensive voice. “And rounder... Yes... Definitely rounder.”
It took everything Satoshi had to keep his face from twitching into an expression of annoyance at the direction this conversation was heading.
“I kind of really want to squish them now,” Aiba sighed wistfully. “Look, my palms are getting sweaty just thinking about it—”
“Eh? J? Isn’t it too soon to be shifting in your seat like that?” Nino suddenly chortled, earning a grunt from the apparently uncomfortable younger guy. “Pants getting too tight already?”
“Nino! You stupid, freakin’—!”
“J’s been moving awkwardly since practice began.” There was a teasing edge in Aiba’s voice that Satoshi very rarely heard.
“I can’t see you two doing any better!” Jun’s voice sounded boyishly squeaky with both irritation and embarrassment.
An inward sigh almost slipped past Satoshi’s lips. So this was what had been causing the other members’ obvious lack of focus today. Just as he had suspected—
“Can’t we just ask someone to reschedule Sho-chan to another day so we can all practice in peace?” Nino was practically whining now.
“I doubt it would make any difference,” Jun wheezed in frustration. “What I need is nothing short of amnesia to get this image out of my head!”
“It’s just like when those An-An spreads came out, ne?” Aiba sounded strangely amused, and a little less conflicted than the others. “Choreographer-san almost gave up on us then, too.”
“Ah! This is really bad!” Nino screeched, banging either his hand or his head on the table. “Why does he do these things anyway?”
“Doesn’t Leader seem oddly unaffected, though?”
Jun’s remark almost made Satoshi flinch as he felt the three members’ eyes converge on him.
“Oh, right. He seems calm—”
“Too calm!” Nino hissed. “This old man is really pissing me off!”
“Didn’t the An-An shots make him rigid before?”
“Yeah. He was so stiff, Sho-chan actually looked graceful beside him!” Nino’s voice sounded slightly closer, following the scraping of steel chair legs on polished tiles.
Satoshi struggled to keep his breath steady, his arms crossed, his head bowed and his eyes tightly closed, even though all he really wanted to do was jump to his feet and scream for these guys to snap out of this ridiculous butt-obsession—
“He seems to have overcome it quite easily, ne?” Aiba’s oddly enthusiastic voice was still coming from the opposite end of the table. “We should ask him how he did it when he wakes up.”
Another scraping sound brought Matsujun’s branded perfume practically under his nose. But the youngest Arashi’s words caught in his throat when the door to their greenroom suddenly swung open and the strong scent of coffee instantly wafted into the room, making Satoshi’s nose twitch in silent delight.
He moaned before finally opening his eyes and rubbing a hand to one while concluding his act with a wide and heartfelt yawn.
“Guys!” Sho Sakurai’s lively greeting swiftly drew all eyes to his direction. “Practice will resume in fifteen minutes. And Imai-san said to tell you to quit fooling around. We all have somewhere else to be afterwards, ne?”
Arashi’s rapper stood in the space between him and Matsujun, placing the cup of coffee on the table, and unknowingly bringing the side profile of his rear-end so close to the youngest member’s face that the poor guy almost choked on his own drool.
Matsujun cleared his throat and slipped out of his seat, generously offering it to the older guy to save face.
“Ah, thank you-w!” Sho said in that gaudy way of his that always made him sound more juvenile than manly. The guy quickly shifted to a softer tone when he muttered, “Satoshi-kun, drink this,” while bringing the cup of coffee closer to his face.
Satoshi took the cup and held it under his nose for a few seconds, rapidly feeling livelier from just the warm and rousing aroma alone. The greenroom became quiet for a brief moment, but he could’ve sworn it was just him blocking out everything else that did not concern him and his precious beverage—
“So, what were you guys talking about while I was away?” Sho’s curious voice cut through the silence.
It was probably a good thing that Satoshi had yet to drink his coffee, because he would’ve seriously spewed it all out when the visibly distracted Nino, Jun and Aiba blurted out three different things at the exact same time—
“Curves.”
“Mounds.”
“Round... er... stuffs.”
Satoshi almost snickered at the perfectly synchronized way the trio’s eyes widened in shock with their mouths gaping slightly, while the oblivious Sho giggled alone in blissful ignorance.
“Eh? Why did those sound so perverted just now?”
“They were talking about you, Sho-chan...”
He took a sip of his coffee to hide the smile that touched his lips following his calm revelation. He watched over the edge of his cup as the younger members turned their disbelieving gazes at him, finally moving in sync for the first time that day.
“Me?” Sho sputtered, his laughter faltering with a sudden bout of uncertainty. “What was it about?”
The three guys were now showing him three different forms of a death threat by silent glare, but they only inspired Satoshi to prattle more—
“They were talking about your butt.”
It took barely a minute for Sho Sakurai to pass through the stages of initial confusion, awkward understanding, sheer embarrassment, and forced ignorance.
The guy was dazed, flustered, red, and gone within a span of sixty seconds, the greenroom door closing almost inaudibly behind him.
“Leader, you’re such a tattle-tale!”
“You were awake the whole time?!”
“That was embarrassing, Leader! Seriously!”
The room was instantly filled with the shrieks of the three riled up perverts who had just been found out.
But Satoshi shut them all up without even batting an eye—
“Then, you should know better than to discuss Sho-chan’s body parts in front of me again.”
The silence that ensued was deafening. The three younger Arashi slowly sat back down on their seats, their eyes losing both rage and conviction as their minds began to process their Leader’s words, their implications. The gravity of the tone used to convey the unmistakable warning...
Then, they turned to him as one, their breaths hitching, their eyes widening, and their jaws dropping in a synchronized expression of unrestrained awe for the wonders and surprises of life.
A coordination they could not quite accomplish in the dance studio today.
“Ever again, you hear?” This time, Satoshi put his coffee down and shot each one of his bandmates with a glare he made sure they would never forget for the rest of their lives. Then he smirked and added a drawled out, “Ne...?” as a final nudge to drive the truth home—
Sho Sakurai belonged to him now, hot squishy butt-cheeks and all.
Satoshi stepped out of the room a few seconds later to look for his partner, the collective gasp of “What the fuck—!” from inside sending him on his merry, smug way.
