There's comfort in solitude. The silence that fills every waking hour as you go about doing what you want, whenever you want, and however way you want it done without anybody's well-intentioned opinions telling you otherwise-
("Don't do this." "Don't do that." "You should do it this way." "No, no! I don't think that's right." "There's a better way of doing this, you know.")
There's unparalleled pleasure in coming back to a quiet home, where your whispered "Tadaima" is greeted by nothing but the hushed echoes of air, serene and calming after a long, tedious day at work-
("Ninomiya-san, it's time for make-up." "Ninomiya-kun, here's the script for today's show." "Nino, what is that you're wearing?!" "Nino-chan, this..." "Nino-kun, that..." "Kazunari, when the hell are you coming by to visit mom?!")
There's unrivaled peace in sleeping alone in bed at night, worrying about absolutely nothing at all-save maybe for the craziest ways he could possibly ditch work the following day to finish his new game-before sighing, mumbling a heartfelt "Oyasumi" to the dancing shadows on his walls, and finally surrendering himself to a dreamless sleep-
But there's also comfort in knowing you're sharing your life with someone, as Nino soon realized after a crazy night out drinking with a certain old man, that for some strange reason led to them being in his room, on his bed, and with one of his arms clumsily tied up to the bed-post.
("Oh-chan, what is this? What are we doing?" "I don't know, Nino. I don't really care.")
Nino used to find comfort in being alone. Now he found it absolutely impossible to get by at night without Oh-chan's grating snores beside him to lull him to sleep.
