Kaze on Yama Micros 01 – Nameless Names

neko_kirin3104This is not going to be a regular thing. Just something I’ll post whenever the inspiration strikes. These are not going to be restricted to drabbles, either (it’s good practice, but they make the brain bleed 😜). Nor will they always make sense. I apologize in advance. m(_ _)m
This is also to lighten up the mood around here a little bit~! I’m not all blood and gore, you know. ^__^<3
Nothing spoils a perfectly fine afternoon more than two old men bickering over what names to give to their newly adopted puppies—
“What kind of names are Rua and Riiru anyway?” Sho snarls, holding the confused little Maltese in his arms away, like he’s afraid it might catch on his partner’s stupidity.
“I don’t think they’ll like Taboo and Popcorn any better, Sho-chan!” Leader growls back, holding his puppy the same way, like he’s afraid Sho might snort it whole.
Nino tries his best to ignore them in favor of poking a reaction out of his own pup, who is currently lounging quietly on his lap. He’ll seriously take anything at this point, even if he loses a finger for it! But the stoic canine is just too cool to care. He swears he’s even heard the little twit sigh a couple of times, thus convincing him that Yama-chan, the very person who has gifted them with the little furballs, has definitely mixed his and the other members’ puppies up.
He throws a glance to the other side of the greenroom where J has just let out an unabashedly boyish giggle that might have freaked the living daylights out of J himself, should Nino replay the recording he has just made of it with his android phone.
J’s puppy IS Aiba in Maltese form: an ulta-hyper, abnormally-playful little sunshine on furry legs—
Aiba himself is only too happy to ignore them all while humming an impromptu lullaby to the serene and unruffled puppy he’s cradling in his arms: Leader, on four legs.
Nino groans. Yama-chan is definitely playing a game with them that the bespectacled comedian thinks is funny. To say that these puppies where the products of said comedian‘s dogs’ daily canoodling, is not enough excuse for this atrocity!
Nino wants a puppy, who doesn’t?
But he absolutely doesn’t want a wooden puppy!
And damn, these old men! Still going on and on and on about these stupid names, like the puppies themselves would even give a hoot and a half should they be named Fart and Pee—
He grabs the puppy in his lap and dumps the startled canine (finally, a reaction!) onto Leader’s. “Here,” he says, effectively shutting his seniors up. “Now you can name them Kazu, J, and Baka!"
"HEY!" Aiba quickly protests, which is really more than what Nino has expected.
He bolts from the couch and goes for the door without sparing anyone a backward glance. “Stupid old men...”
He figures he’ll just go to Yama-chan’s house himself and choose his own pup...
Right after flicking the sneaky clown‘s forehead, of course.
