All Mr. Ohno asked was dinner for his three kids at seven. Until then, Shoko could enjoy her free, unlimited access to the fridge. Best damn part of babysitting, really.

Every one of those mouth-watering treats, all hers to take.

She got distracted fast, especially since the kids hardly showed up all afternoon—

Mr. Ohno called at nine. “Have you checked the children, Sho-chan?”

Shoko set her second tube of ice cream aside—

Rushed to the kids’ room in a panic—

Saw the flash of sharp, hungry fangs...

And knew then that she wasn’t the only glutton in the house.
