Satoshi didn’t mind sticking by Sho’s side whenever his partner had to stay up late at night.

He’d quietly doodle on his sketchpad, while a droopy-eyed Sho busied himself on his laptop, determined fingers tip-tapping on the keys.

He barely flinched when the now familiar weight of Sho’s head touched his shoulder with a groan. He didn’t mind this, too. “Ten minutes, Satoshi-kun...”

“Okay,” he hummed, already deciding that an extra ten wouldn’t hurt.

The tip-tapping would resume in twenty minutes, its rhythmic cadence inspiring Satoshi’s tenderly whispered, “Ganbare...”

He definitely didn’t mind the quick kiss he got in return.
