It wasn’t just the idea of sleeping on the same bed together that made the bedroom a truly special place for Sho.

It wasn’t even so much the sex anymore as it was the things that came after—

The cuddling. The calming of breaths.

The soft whispers and softer affections shared in both spoken and unspoken ways.

Then the gentle snores.

And Sho deliberately staying up late some nights just so he could unfold Satoshi’s incredibly bendy ear whenever it stuck to itself in sleep.

It’s one of those precious little things that were his and only his to claim.
