But this was supposed to be my drabble project for June to celebrate Nino's month.

It's better late than later, right?

Five updates a day for fifteen days and this baby is done.

~and kitty makes three~

His name is Yuuji. But he's not always been Yuuji.
He's a silver classic tabby. But he's not always been a cat.

He knows this.
He knows nothing but this…

So one day, he finally decides to run away from home to find his lost identity.

But nothing could've ever prepared him for the truth.

This is a drabble series and chapters are in traditional drabble/drabble-and-a-half form (100/150 words). They are not gonna get any longer than that. ^^V

His name is Yuuji, and that's really all he knows about himself.

Also that he's a cat.

But he's definitely no ordinary cat.

Not that cats have ever been un-ordinary to begin with.

He's just... different.

How and why, he has yet to figure it out himself.

And he's got a pretty good feeling that whatever answer he seeks lies inside this quaint little house with the quaint little garden, that apparently belongs to a quaint-looking human with the huge sad eyes—

"Hey, you..." the man says, hunkering down on his front porch; forced smile barely touching the apples of his cheeks.

Something inside Yuuji's chest squeezes at the sight of it; his whiskers wiggling with a soft, melancholic purr.

Right then and there he vows to live for no one else but this man.

Sure beats the hell out of the tanned one he's just left at home, too.
