"Sorry, Okada-san. I know I should've resigned personally—"

"And I would've still said no." The man called Okada set two bagfuls of groceries on the kitchen counter. "When was the last time you got out of this house—?"

"Senpai, please…"

Yuuji hardly looks at the patty his human tosses into his bowl, his insides twisting into painful knots all of a sudden.

"Stop punishing yourself, Sho-kun!" Okada says sympathetically, impatiently. "If Nino were here, he'd tell you the same thing."

"If Nino were here," Sho chuckles bitterly. "This is exactly what he would've wanted."
