Yuuji barely acknowledges the words. Too busy snuggling up to his human's familiar scent caught between the couch's claw-snagging fibers.

"Okada-kun forgot to buy us burgers. How rude of him, right?!" Sho scoffs in jest, crouching beside the couch to scratch Yuuji's ears. "I'll get you a couple more stuffs while I'm at it, too. Because I really did not appreciate that mess you left in my tub this morning!"

Yuuji mewls, shamelessly twisting in his human's tender palms.

"It's okay, though." Sho's fleetingly cheery voice slips back into a melancholic hum. "We're cool."
