"Changed?" Sho asks incredulously. "Changed how?"

Yuuji casually climbs into his human's lap. Ears subtly twitching with heightened interest, heart skipping with growing dread.

"Well, he's got the same black and white markings and all," Ohno's voice is a mixture of confusion and concern, loss and affection. "But aside from those, he's a totally different cat now."

Yuuji's heartbeat quickens as his previous human starts recounting everything he has become that he's not supposed to be—

"We used to be real tight, you know?" Ohno sighs, again with those furrowed brows. "Now he hardly even knows me."
